In 1993, I gradutated as Consecutive Interpreter and Translator (English, Ger
man and Italian) from Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori, that I had attended for 3 years. During the last year, I had also worked in a translation agency in Rome. After graduating, I decided to start up my own little firm as a freelance translator, but at the same time, I studied Germanic philology, linguistics and English and German Literature at Rome's 2nd University Tor Vergata. In 2002, I obtained my BA in Germanic Philology with a thesis on Das Niebelungenlied and the Elder Edda.
Since 1992, I've been working for translation agencies and private companies throughout Europe, as well as Italian ministries and authorities.
I worked as a radio speaker at RAI International between 2000 and 2010, i.e. until the whole department was closed down. During the same period, I often had the chance to assist and coach Italian actors dubbing films with scenes in Danish.
During my career, I've had the chance to work as an interpreter at the very highest, institutional level several times, but also at conferences and business meetings.
